Tyler Rendall - Profile.
Although he is out of action for a few weeks with injury to a couple of fingers due to an accident at work, we take a look at up and coming West Country rider, Tyler Rendall.
Having received a tremendous amount of backing from his parents, Steve and Nicky over the past ten years whilst he has been competing in Trials, he has now gained some sponsorship from BVM Moto on a 300 Gas Gas where the pairing picked up four points for a twelfth place finish in the ACU Trial Expert Class at round one.
Residing at Tiverton in Devon, eighteen year old Tyler has gained an Apprenticeship with a local Fabrication / Welding company and admits to Trials being a steep learning curve as he is the first person in the family to take up Trials. This also applies to his Dad as his Mentor, Minder and Mechanic.
Tyler recalls winning the Clubmen route at the 2017 Southern Experts Trial as his best result after he crashed out of the British round earlier that year and finishing up in Guildford Hospital.
He sights too many "fives" on the punch card at the opening round this year which he aims to correct going forward to progress consistently into the top ten with a visit to the podium being the ultimate target.
Tyler names Jaime Busto as his favourite World class rider, whilst Joe Baker tops the British list as Tyler has noticed that Joe rides consistently all of the time.
We hope to see Tyler back in action soon.
