ACU Trial GB Championships - FRIDAY AT GEDDINGTON

FRIDAY AT GEDDINGTON

With the odd shower making an unwanted appearance, the guys at Nene Valley have been putting the final touches to the twelve sections ahead of the final round on Sunday.
With the sun drying the steep bankings quickly, the odd shower made for slippery conditions for around twenty minutes before the grip re appeared.
The Trial will open with two rockless, but ultra steep climbs before the fifty plus riders head deeper into the canyon for the rock outcrops of sections three and four which are shown in our image. From here it is onto two different sections on a more sandy type of hillside for numbers five and six - a real contrast in ground conditions.
Sections seven, eight and nine are quite technical twisting in and over the rocks which remain in the old quarry.
From here it is quite a muddy passage onto numbers ten and eleven at the far end of the venue - nearly a mile from the start, which are the two driest sections on the open hillside. A ride around the perimeter path locates section twelve which is situated on the way back, quite close to section four.
The action starts at 9.30am on Sunday with the route to the start marked from the A43 to the North of Kettering.
Adult admission is just £5.
