IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SPECTATORS AT ROUND 5
Working with the Torridge Club, Series Manager Brian Higgins is pleased to report that spectators who attend round five on Sunday will be well catered for with direction signs showing the best routes to take whilst visiting the sections.
With the ferns growing rapidly in the warm weather, special spectator routes have been marked to maximise the viewing potential around the Petertavy venue.
The most important area will be to view sections one to four from the area locally known as Elephants Island which means looking up the wooded hillside - in the direction riders will tackle the obstacles and being close to the big step in section three at the bottom of the woods.
Directions are then available to the final group of five sections situated on the open tor.
The event will be signposted from the A386, one mile north of Tavistock and the action starts at 9.30am (Warm up 9am) on Sunday.
Adult admission is just £5.
