ACU Trial GB Championships - ROUND THREE SECOND UPDATE - 18TH MAY

ROUND THREE SECOND UPDATE - 18TH MAY

After some good negotiating by members of the Westmorland Club a larger, flat paddock field has been located following the landowners withdrawal earlier in the year.
Spectator parking will still be directly adjacent to the A593, just South of Torver.
We should point out that any team or rider with a vehicle more than 2.2m wide should make contact with us prior to the event. The public road to the paddock field is approximately a mile from the main A593, but it easily accepts the Series Manager's large motorhome and the Podium curtainsider.
The new Paddock area means that Antony Brockbank can now follow the more traditional route as used in regional events at the venue, starting with six sections very close to the start area, before heading off onto the fells for two sections, whilst the final four will be within easy walking distance from the start We would expect that most supporters will be able to follow the whole lap on foot, possibly with the exception of zones seven and eight on the second and third laps, when the pace hots up!
Entries are still open on the Ride ACU website for all Expert competitors.
