SHERCO REGAIN POINTS LEAD.
With a haul of eighty six points over the two days at rounds seven and eight, Sherco have leapt to the top of the Manufacturers table with just one round remaining. By packing all of their riders into the top six in the three point scoring categories, (Trial 125 does not count) Sherco have turned a seven point deficit into a fifteen point advantage, with just one round remaining.
Jack Peace, James Fry and Tom Affleck (pictured) did the damage across the three classes as Scorpa, who had scored consistently in the previous rounds, failed to get a rider into the top fifteen in the all important Trial Expert category, which cost them heavily.
Andy Chilton scored a pair of second places for the French marque, whilst Billy Green weighed in with a second and a third over the two days of action in Wales.
TRRS remain in with a chance of taking the crown in third position, a further eight points adrift, whilst GasGas, who benefited from the return of Dan Thorpe with his two wins, have closed in on Beta who are in fourth. Just four points separate them.
Vertigo complete the top six aided by Tyler Rendall, finishing second in Trial Expert at Hafren.
The final round takes place at Matlock on the 24th October.
