ACU Trial GB Championships - Six riders withdraw.

Six riders withdraw.

With their main focus being the Trial GP's, six of our top riders have withdrawn from the two rounds this weekend.
With the Italian Trial GP, which is the final round of the 2020 campaign in just one week's time, the six riders pictured have decided that the risk of not being able to travel to Lazzate is just too great and have opted to miss the Devon double header.
Following this, the Trials & Enduro Committee acted quickly to allow the promoting Torridge Club to use the Trial 2 route through the twelve sections each day, effectively eliminating the Trial GB route. However, the remaining contestants in the Trial GB class will still be scored separately and championship points awarded accordingly.
Series Manager, Brian Higgins, "Obviously this comes as a disappointment, but the riders all contacted me and explained their dilemma. I fully understand and accept their decision. We have built up a good working relationship over the past eighteen months and I am sure they will continue to support the series once the world rounds are finished. To be honest, with no spectators allowed this weekend coupled with several restrictions regarding Assistants etc., it may turn out as a blessing.
A reminder to Trials fans that the RaceGo results service will become live at approx. noon on Saturday and Sunday.
