Full steam ahead with series.
Following initial concerns over the possible impact of new Government restrictions, the Torridge Club are pressing ahead with rounds two and three which take place near Tavistock on the first weekend in October.
A clear statement from a Minister on the BBC Breakfast programme today, Grant Shapps was clear that "Organised Sporting events" do not fall foul of the new measures, so the club were relieved. Extra precautions over and above the Covid 19 Risk Assessment will be put in place and full details will be published by the Club ahead of the event.
One of the Series Partners, Wulfsport, reacted quickly to a request for sixty masks to be produced for the remaining events and have produced a variation of quality coverings in various colours.
Further details of the events will be published here and entries are still open on the Ride ACU website.
