ACU Trial GB Championships - ACU Awards ceremony big success

ACU Awards ceremony big success

Last weekend saw around six hundred riders attend the annual ACU Awards Dinner at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Traditionally January is a difficult time to attract riders as many are in warmer climes training, but for the 2020 version a large number attended.
ACU Trial Expert winner, Chris Stay made the journey from the Isle of Wight to represent TRRS and to collect his award.
Just seven days prior, Chris was stuck in France on work related business and had to miss the West of England Knill Trial, but the ACU were pleased to see Chris make it to the Awards evening.
Ross Danby was also on hand to represent the TRRS brand and to collect his ACU Trial 2 prize, whilst Ben Dignan travelled from Scotland to collect the ACU Trial 125 category award.
Our picture shows Chris receiving his award from the ACU Trials and Enduro Chairman John Collins and Series Manager Brian Higgins.
The 2020 season kicks off on March 7th at Hookwood in Surrey where Chris will start his attack in the ACU Trial 2 Class.
