Its the final showdown.
The final two rounds for 2019 will take place this weekend at the Bob McGregor Academy in Southern Scotland.
In the ACU Trial GB Class Jack Price virtually has one hand on the title, needing just fourteen points over the two days to clinch his second title. However, we are sure to have a battle for second overall with Dan Peace and Toby Martyn engaged in a tight tussle with just two marks separating them. I am sure that battle will go down to the final lap on Sunday!
The re juvinated ACU Trial 2 Class is just as exciting with three riders all possible title contenders. Current Champion, Ross Danby had a dip in form at round three but bounced back with two wins which gives him a five point cushion over Richard Sadler, whilst Sam Connor, who won the opening round is still ready to pounce.
It is a similar story in the ACU Trial Expert Class with Chris Stay and Dan Thorpe separated by four points. Whilst the Isle of Wight rider (Stay) has recorded four wins, two lower positions has allowed Thorpe to put the pressure back on. Sam Yeomans is the only other rider who could take the crown if the other pair faulter.
With Brett Harbud not entered, Ben Dignan is assured of the ACU Trial 125 title, whilst Ireland’s Adam Harris (pictured) could snatch second overall this weekend.
